The In-MINDD team hosted the project’s Policy Symposium in Dublin on 1 and 2 October.  Fifty dementia experts from across Europe attended the meeting. Insightful presentations were given by Dr Edo Richard, Jurgen Scheftlein (EU Commission), Prof Alina Solomon and the In-MINDD team. Attendees also participated in round-table discussions over the 2 days, examining how dementia prevention should be translated into policy. The event was a great success, in particular the breakaway sessions generated lively discussion and engagement between different stakeholders. Key themes were captured by rapporteurs from the In-MINDD team and will be analysed and included in the project’s reports and publications.
