In-MINDD featured in National Alzheimer Society Newsletter

In-MINDD has been featured in the Summer newsletter of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. The piece focuses on the main aims of the Project: to verify links between lifestyle in midlife and long term brain health, to develop online tools to assess and support brain health in mid-life and to raise awareness that a healthy lifestyle in mid-life can help reduce dementia risk.

In-MINDD featured in Dutch regional press

Just as the In-MINDD trial commences, the project has been featured in the Dutch regional paper Dagblad De Limburger. Prof Verhey and Dr Kohler from In-MINDD partners UM were interviewed for the piece. The paper is widely read in the Limburg province.

In-MINDD Featured in The Irish Times

The In-MINDD Project was recently featured in an Irish Times article, titled EU teams unite in supporting healthy ageing.

The article, published on 6th May 2014, was written by Maire Geoghegan-Quinn, European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science, and discussed the In-MINDD project as well as other projects which support healthy ageing.

Dr. Kate Irving made an appearance on the RTE show – The Gene that Could End My Life, discussing the positive impact lifestyle improvements can have on the chance of developing dementia later in life.
